Feeling a bit unloved here, the last few days when trying to log on, I am presented with the old 'user name'- 'password' even after clicking the 'keep me logged in' button.
Problem is my user name is a huge 10 letter/digit concoction which I have to go searching for. All because after a time away I forgot my password & had to ask for a newy. How can I change this to something memorable -to me please?

Hi Wendy,
I keep the details of the various log-in names and passwords in a folder on a flash drive away from the PC. If I forget a combination I just plug in the flash drive and copy/paste the details into the Log in boxes.
Not sure if you can change your 'User Name' on the forum, but changing your password is relatively simple. Go to User Control Panel [top right of window]. Click on Profile [left hand side]. Click on 'Edit account settings'. Enter your new password 2x. Enter your current password at the bottom then click Submit.

Thanks for the advice you have given Wendy, yes it is correct you can change your password.
I don't believe users can change their login name, however I can do this if you want it done, let me know.

Found it- tried the switch, kept getting message in red saying I was not doing it properly. Not to matter. There are much more important things in life.
I got straight in today.

If you get locked out again see if the key is on a string inside the letterbox [Oh those were the days!]. If there's no key knock four times and tell them Bennie sent you for a cup of sugar!

Guess I'll still be knocking to get in.

Same applies to others

I wondered if it was the last date for each month for some reckoning, now I reckon something just likes 26.

Something very buggy there because the year has changed to 2013 as well as the time sticking at 7.47. Gremlins or ghosts in the machine....? Your machine?

Just been called away for a time.

My netbook shows "It is currently 00:06:01 Mon 18/Mar/2013 for Forum site.
I guess it's a weirdness in my computer.
1.48 pm checked in to say, all dates as they should be,..until I clicked on this post, then they bounced back to 26 Mar.

I can only think some of the html (or similar) code is showing through on your computer, but I don't know why.

My Son had a lookie, was flummoxed at first, then happily announced okay it's right now, that's when I clicked on 'this' post & changed the world as I see it.
Just a passing craze from here, sorry to disturb.
