Would have loved to have been at the start of this family tree research.
Also the Rotunda and people who trod the boards.

I enjoyed the journal this time round ,it brought back memories when I was a youngster with my mates we played in the Lyric theatre Everton Valley what was left of it. the time was around the mid 1945 it was just a shell of a building but it still had its name on the outside wall.
Ater WW2 they dumped props off the spitfires etc, I lived in Woodhouse St just up the road from the Lyric. Thanks to Fred Wellings for his story.

Hi Joe,
I have seen that notation before and believe it was added by the CLDS when they put the original record up on the old FamilySearch website. I have been told it might mean 'Native of Ireland'. I do not believe it has any relevance to the local Enniscorthy area, geographically, politically or otherwise.

The current GRO entry in FamilySearch is:
Birth: John Byrne
gender: Male
birth date: 16 Jun 1871
birthplace: Wexford, Ireland
father's name: Patrick Byrne
mother's name: Mary Kenny

I think if you obtained the actual birth cert NOI would not appear on it, just the place of birth being Enniscorthy, County Wexford.

You could send the original details you have together with the source to FamilySearch and ask them the direct question. http://familysearch.org/help/contact

Thanks for the great feedback on the March 2013 edition - we did have some great articles and it's the members' literary efforts that make the journal as good as it is. I am confident that the next edition will have some great articles too but let's keep them coming in - I can't do it without you all. I hope you liked the new Masterclass section too and keep your eyes open for some other ideas I want to try.

Peter Jones always did a great job, but fresh eyes bring a fresh perspective and we will welcome all your new ideas. Some of our regular Forum Members have also produced some excellent articles in the past and we look forward to more of them.

As a fairly new member, I'm enjoying the Journal very much.

Can I say, also, how good it was to find a thriving forum and Facebook page for this FHS. I know these take a lot of effort to keep ticking over as well, so thank you.
