GRO - well done!

Post by daggers »

I ordered a cert from GRO, Southport on 27 December and was told in their acknowledgement that it would be sent out about 3rd January. It arrived today (29th)!
That's what I call service.

Yes, confirming a suspicion. Now chasing a curious FMP transcription of a marriage which seems to give the wrong parish.

Well if we can help at all .... does it argue with LancsBMD or will a visit to the Record Office be necessary?

Thanks for the offer, but it is down in Monmouthshire. I have put in a correction to FMP and await confirmation.
