Just a little note to praise a certain site ........ not sure if I'm permitted to say which! Looking into a friend's Dublin ancestors and hit the jackpot on the irish prison registers. Oh My Go......odness! The details given are fabulous. I could defo identify one jailbird by his description (and many of them there were) He was deficient a lower right arm! Soooo glad I subscribed!

I'm not objecting if you want to tell us about good new databases on whichever site, although I think we could probably guess which.
