Husband of Nellie Breden, of 159, Towson St., Everton, Liverpool. Youngest son of the late John and Ellen Breden
I have a lovely piece of war art drew by this soldier in 1916 when he was "Somewhere in the Balkans"
He was wounded on the 31st July 1917 and died from these wounds on this day at Bolton Infirmary. Leaving a widow and one child. Buried at Kirkdale Cemetery.

Very thoughtful of you Katie. It is essential that our memories and respects are carried forward to the future generations. I find it so disturbing that so few teenagers and twenty-somethings today know so little about WW2 let alone WW1.
