Lancashire Books & Patents

For a few years I have advertised in the Historian to little effect, so I have decided to go electronic.

I have been a secondhand book dealer for over 40years. I specialise in Lancashire and Cheshire-interest books and publish a catalogue of these by email periodically.

My advert says that I 'buy, sell and search for books relating to these counties.'

I also have lists of some legal documents relating to Lancashire, which includes places in the SW of the Red Rose County. (As a member of the Friends of Real Lancashire, I cannot bring myself to use the 'M' word)

I also have lists of some patent applications I have from applicants who live in Cheshire and Lancashire outside the towns ( Liverpool, Southport & others) I have separate lists for. These are dated approx 1900 to 1950. I have a name index for each list.

I hope I have interested you enough for you to send me a message telling me what you would like me to send to your email address. I have a trading motto - 'My integrity is your guarantee'

Good thinking to go electronic - it seems to be the way of the world nowadays, don't think you can get by without it. We look forward to seeing your website when it's ready.
