This Forum: logging in problem

Post by daggers »

I use an iPad and a new laptop. I have logged in via both, asking to be remembered and stay logged in, on both, but am now finding that connecting to the Forum via the iPad now needs a new log-in each time.
Is there any way round this please?

I've never had a iPad so guessing, go to settings and see if there's a password box that needs ticking or unticking, might be with the delete browsing history section, failing that, google make and model, doesn't remember log ins, someone has bound to have asked the question and found a fix.

Good Luck

Sorry I can only concur with Bert's suggestions. I use two laptops, one which other visitors to the house are allowed to use and so I use the Options in the browser to be set to not save login and passwords, I think you may find that the answer in your browser settings somewhere.

Alternatively send an email to Lee (Webmaster) he is quite knowledgeable on technie stuff and I believe uses an iphone (which may have similar set up) although I don't know if he uses an ipad.

Others may have had gifts from Santa who have come across - and possibly overcome this problem also, I hope for more suggestions for you.

Whereas I am the opposite since the upgrade.

MaryA.

Strange!

I thought it was the upgrade that caused it, I have the same problem on roots as well (since they upgraded)?

Thanks for the comments, and I'm glad its not just me and my iPad. No clues found when I looked into the mostly uncharted areas of the latter.
On the laptop I am getting used to the differences, but it seems to keep me logged in here, so that is plus.
