Is anyone else having problems with sending attachments with gmail since they messed about with it?
Last week I could attach a file but it wouldn't send it. Then I'd find it in drafts and send it from there.
Now won't send an attachment and the attachment isn't even attached in drafts. I've put a post somewhere in Google groups but can''t find it now as their system is too complicated for me.
If someone could explain to me in non technical language how I can send an attachment I'd be grateful. I have Internet Explorer up to date, Norton up to date and use Windows &. It all worked fine until Google mail changed!

Sorry it was fine for me a week or so ago and have just tried again without a problem. I wonder if the trouble is with your browser? Have you cleared out your cache recently, alternatively I know DS would agree with me for you to try Chrome and see if that still causes you problems.

Yes I agree about Chrome being superior to IE! There are several potential glitches lurking in Internet Explorer just waiting to cause problems in all versions after 7, or so I understand. Chrome will serve you better for Gmail. And as a relevant point... I sidelined Chrome sometime ago and moved to Firefox, basically so I could run a couple of USA TV shows thru the browser and Chrome was being very 'fussy' about complying.
Because my current OS is a 64 bit system with a dual-core processor I have since migrated to the 64 bit version of Firefox, known as Waterfox.
