Liverpool Echo contacts?

Post by alcavtay »

Hi, I was wondering whether anyone here has a contact at the Liverpool Echo who would be interested in a 'have you seen our missing war memorial?' story, links to regeneration of Toxteth, Noel Chavasse V.C.&Bar and a Liverpool Pub! Plus of course lots of human interest and local links.

I tried contacting the features desk via the website but haven't even had an acknowledgment. Next step is to go via the diocesan media relations people but I thought I'd try you lot first.

Cheers

I have found that a phone call to the features desk is sometimes helpful, especially if you have a good story for them, and the right person is listening. The names I used to contact have all moved on.

Sorry mine too, but I would agree that a telephone call would be better than either a letter or email which might just get filed. You can be more persistent on the phone.

You're both right, a phone call seems to be the thing to do... it's a pity I've got a bit of a phobia of telephones (no laughing please, I'm serious!) I can do this though, I'll let you know how I get on :)
