Tina.

Thank You for the Heads Up!

I (May?) have found My 3x Grt-Grandfather (Carl HERTZBERGER Bn C1817 Prussea. Immigrated to England C1840-1850?), problem is I can't view the record on that site (without parting with a Lot of £££'s).

It does help me to narrow down My search though!

Hilary.

Thank You!

I don't think this is My Carl HERZBERGER, mine was a Taylor, son of a Taylor (spelling as found on records).

But, there is one way to find out, maybe his future wife (& her Brother) came here though the same port:

Peter BRAUN (found in a wild search landed at Dover)
Dorothea BRAUN Bn C1816, Germany

Update.

Thanks to Chris, I have seen the entry for 29th March 1847 & there are quite a few names on the page but only one Occupation given (under the first printed name), so this may be My 3x Grt-Grandfathers Arrival Entry Record after all!
