Thanks

Ok,
You put the child's name in search and year of birth and buy the certificate or use as many credits that's needed to find the child's parents.
Give us what you know and let us see if we can fiddle something of use.

Right I don't know the children's names. Surname is Calder. Parents Andrew Calder and Isabella Stark Moyes . They married 1936 in Fife.
His siblings also married and I can't find their children either.
Thanks for the offer

Below the image is the 1965 Electoral Register for, Kirktoun Gardens, Fife.
Andrew and Isabella have no one else in the property, 1955, 1960, Betsy is possibly a daughter come of voting age.
I'll keep looking.

I'm wondering if the "M" might be Moyes.

Thanks Bertieone. It is a big problem. Why is no equivalent of GRO or Free BMD for Scotland?
Thanks again. It could take all week

Because the Scottish Government like our pennies.

That is sooo nice of you Erika. I feel that it would cost a fortune, so I won't take up your offer. Thanks for the offer though.

Me too if it can be narrowed down to pretty much a certainty.

I haven't got any credits, but I would use them on the marriage, 1936, Andrew Calder/Isabella Stark Moyes, in hope one of the mothers maiden names was Gordon, though it may have come down from the grandparents, chance you take
Does Lynne already have it?
