Good Afternoon

I have a will for a James Bonney born c 1743 yeoman from Kirkham dated 1779. James married Lucy Hardman 19.7.1763


The will includes the following :

Henry Browns children (Henry is noted as brother in law) Who did Henry marry ?? No dates given I can only presume that Henry would have married round about the same time as James ??

Ellen
Elizabeth

Also mentioned as brother in law is Thomas Helms and Thomas,s daughter who is named as Ellen Smith

No marriage found for either Thomas Helms or his daughter Ellen

This is the only marriage I can find around that time. Maybe Ann was James Bonney's older sister? Woodplumpton is only 6 miles from Kirkham.

I think the 1730 marriage is far to early for the one I am looking for but I appreciate you looking for me.

Thomas Helm yes that could be the one now to find the connection between Thomas & James.
