Lancashire baptism certificates

Hi all, still trying to find out more about my elusive great Grandmother, Catherine Traynor. She was married to Dennis Keeley in Sacred Heart Catholic church in Thornton Cleveleys in 1901. She had 4 children between 1901 and 1909, all on Lancs BMD with a sub district of Fleetwood and registered at Preston.
I want to try and get hold of copies of the baptism certificates to try and see who the witnesses were. Lancs OPC has no record of either the marriage or the children. There is no record on Familysearch either.
Would I have to contact the church to see if they have records on site, or any other hints on where I can get them online?
Many thanks, John

Thanks for looking Lynne, much appreciated. I have had a look on Ancestry but cannot see anything in the Card catalogue.

Many thanks Blue, that is definitely the correct church. My great grandfather lived in Rock Street, which is only a few hundred yards away. I will get in touch with the church, or may be even pay a visit

I thought the registers may have been deposited with the Lancashire RO, but I can't find them mentioned in the catalogue.

Thanks Mary, I have contacted the Fylde FHS to see if they know if the church has the records and if anyone has ever heard of 'Sunnydene' where she was working in 1901 when she was married. I can't see it in old maps or online anywhere.

Hi JohnnyO I may have the wrong family but on the 1911 Census there is Dennis Keeley born 1870 Widnes, Catherine born 1875 DUNDALK IRELAND, plus 4 children - 3 living 1 died. Hope this helps yappie

Hi yappie, many thanks for responding. That is indeed the correct family. I have the 1911 records but struggling to find her in 1901. Post 1911 I am quite happy with, as I have lots of detail. It is from birth to marriage that is the struggle. I'm hoping the baptismal records (if there are any) will give me clues to other family members. A witness at her wedding in 1901 was Mary Traynor (mother, sister?) and know that her father was Thomas Traynor, a farmer deceased at the time of her marriage.
There is a different birth year depending on whether you take the 1911 census, marriage certificate or burial record, with about a 6 year difference!
