I thought it was only the 1881 censuses you posted on Lost Cousins?

The Lost cousins site uses 1841 , 1881 and 1911 censuses (if that is the correct plural.) This family are causing me great difficulties. I have Ellen Sanderson (nee Manchester) b 1814 Bickerstaffe (mis transcribed as Anderson) in 1871 with her mother Elizabeth Manchester. Her mother dies 1874, Ormskirk, I think. I cannot find Ellen, or her daughter Elizabeth Sanderson b 1839 Bickerstaffe, in 1881 census or a death or marriege for either. John Sanderson her husband is not on the other censuses with her, but she does not say widdowed. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
Oh I should have said that Lost Cousins uses other censuses from other countries.

Lynne,

Have you checked out the marriage, 1858, Robert Willis/Elizabeth Sanderson, Father, John Sanderson-Wheelwright.

I notice her Grandfather, James Manchester was a Wheelwright.

Just to let you know Bertie one. I have got James Manchester's extended family all the way to 1911 census and most of their marriages and deaths. Surnabes include Sanderson; Willis and Fidler. Unfortunately I think that line lost the surname Manchsester because his only son died as a child.
Thanks very much for your help I could not have done it without you.
Lynne
