Good morning everyone, Hope someone can help me find the answer to this old puzzle/problem. I did write a story some years ago that was published in our Historian and despite extensive research at the time could not find what Port the Emigrant Ship, Hawks Bay sailed from in the UK to Victoria, Australia,1914.
Mum's two cousin's, Robert Matthew Beatham and brother Walter Beatham sailed to Australia in July 1914,on the Emigrant Ship ,Hawk's Bay, landing in Victoria ,Australia, on their journey from home in Cumberland they called at their Uncles Home in Arthur Street ,Liverpool, that much is known, but what was the port they sailed from on The Hawke's Bay?, one could assume Liverpool, but over the year's I have tried hoping new information on website's would become available to confirm this, but have had no luck so far. Has anyone any updated information on what Port she would have sailed from.
Many Thanks for your time reading this.
