Where to obtain a copy will?

Hi all; I have found online a transcript of a Probate entry from 1961. The person in question died in Kerry, but Probate was granted in London.
If I wanted to view the will, would I enquire to London or Kerry to get a copy, and if London, who would I write to?
Many thanks,
John

You can order the will online. It costs £10. I can't seem to copy the full details on the iPad but Google "copy of will in UK" and look for the site with gov.uk in it.
This may or may not work

Thanks Hilary. I've found it on this site:

That doesn't actually tell me if there is a will or not, or would it just be letters of administration?
Thanks

If it was just Administration it usually says so. Probate generally gives brief details of the executor and amount left.

Thanks Mary, doing a bit of Googling it would appear that if it says Probate, it should have a will attached. I've paid my £10 so will wait to see what is in the will. I'm very interested as it is a BIG bone of contention on my wife's side. The usual Catholic priest involved, and a big hotel in Ireland gifted not to the church, but to the priest, who apparently sold it 2 years later for a good sum of money

Will keep you posted

. Not sure if the will can prove anything, as I think the priest, who was defrocked, sold it some years before he died. The amount that he left in Probate in today's terms would be worth 6 figures, so presumably included the hotel. It is now a 5* Spa, and should have been part of my late father in law and his brother's inheritance. The will was changed on their great grandmother's deathbed by all accounts. Looking through a lot of Probate forms, it is interesting how many people left their assets to the priest, and not the church.
