Harris family Wrexham/Liverpool/Chester

Jane Eyes (b. 1796, Liverpool) married James Harris on 6th Oct 1828 at St. Mary's, Walton. She died on 4th December 1846 in Esless Cottage, near Wrexham, Denbighshire and was buried in Wrexham. (The death notice in the Liverpool Mercury states 'Esclusham Cottage')

I had, until recently, been unable to find out any more about them until I found the following on the 1851 Census:
Brunswick Road, West Derby
James Harris / lodger / widower / 71 / Gentleman / Birmingham
Frederick Harris / son / unmarried / 20 / clerk / Wales, Wrexham
(Piece: 2192, Folio: 14, Page Number: 20)
Frederick turned out to be James Frederick Harris, b. 1831 in Wrexham. He was baptised in Wrexham on 9th September 1831, his parents being recorded as James & Jane Harris living in Bersham. James is a 'Gentleman.' I also wonder if this is the same James Frederick Harris who seems to have had a second baptism on 16th September 1833 at St. John the Baptist, Chester. Parents are James & Jane Harris, Gentleman, of Brook Street.
James Frederick Harris died on 15th May 1891 at 13 Paradise Row, Chester and was buried at Ruthin Road Cemetery, Wrexham. His probate record was what assured me I had the correct person as I know that John Johnson Wilson was his cousin.

I am trying to find the family on the 1841 Census (as I know Jane was still alive then) and also trying to find James Frederick on the 1861, 1871, 1881 and 1891 censuses but have so far been unsuccessful!
I am also trying to find the death of James, b. about 1780 in Birmingham. There were paper mills in Bersham/Esclusham leased by a Harris family and I am trying to prove a connection there.
Anyone have any ideas?
