Did Ellen Murrin have a brother called James? There was a James Murrin born in County Longford living at 40 Bridge Road Litherland in 1911 his occupation was pawnbroker. Looking at Roots Ireland he might have been born in 1858 in Newtownforbes, County Longford parents possibly James and Bridget. He married Mary A O'Reilly in 1887 in West Derby district the same year as Ellen. Both marriages and family baptisms probably took place in an RC church in Bootle these records are not online.

Was Ellen a widow when marrying Lawrence?

The relevant information for this post is

The relative in question is the father of my sisters late husband. His name was Nicholas Wilde, born Bootle 1888 and was the son of Lawrence Wilde, Born Lough Shinney 1857 and settled in Bootle.
I would also be pleased of any help researching Lawrence in Lough Shinney having had no luck so far finding that searching Irish records a bit tricky for someone with as little Hi-Tec ability as myself

I noticed that Ellen Murrin living with a James Owen Murrin I wondered if there might have been a mistake on that record considering that Ellen's age? Both their places of birth are given as Dublin though not Longford.

Re Lough Shinney.
I believe this to be a small village in north County Dublin in the area known as Fingal. http://www.loughshinnyvillage.com/

The village of Rush in north County Dublin is in the Fingal area and is about 5 minutes south of Loughshinny by car.
