A spare set of eyes

Hi to all you helpful folk. I am looking for a spare set of eyes to see what I have missed.
My 2xgreat aunt was Emily Lee b 1845 in Wandsworth. I have her from birth until her marriage on the 12 October 1863 in Holy Trinity Church Clapham to John Child (paper hanger). Her father was Samuel Lee (miller) - his father John Child (hairdresser) Last sighting is on the 1871 cencus (RG 10 847 Page 58) with John and two daughters Jessie age 5 and Emily age 1. From 1871 nothing - having tried all variations on the name Child I am at a loss

I am hoping one of our experts will be able to point me in another direction as I have watched you all break down so many brick walls.

No expert, just a tryer

One to keep on file just in case is 16 year old Jessie, born Lambeth, Surry who is a Draper's Assistant at 225 Walworth Road, Newington. RG11; Piece: 550; Folio: 10; Page: 17

Thank you MaryA and Bertieone for your quick replies. MaryA I will keep the Jessie as a possible and try to find out more about her. Lambeth is not a million miles from Croydon. I have a 3xgreat grandmother who on all cencus from 1851 to 1911 thought she was born in either Maldon Essex of Mile End - finally found she was born in Dover

Bertione The John Edmund you found is on a tree on Anc but I am not sure - will keep the details to one side. I have the family up to 1871 but nothing later I am beginning to believe they left the country or like a lot of Ancestors fell into the big black hole somewhere
