With reference to my lonely 'Missing Moons' post... http://www.forum.liverpool-genealogy.or ... 22&t=13072

A very kind and helpful contact at the Bristol & Avon Family History Society has found something that might be relevant.....

"There are two entries on Ancestry.co.uk on the Canadian Passenger Lists 1865-1935 for an Edmond Moon leaving Blackwater England and Liverpool England and arriving in both cases in Quebec. But I was unable to look at the ships' papers themselves as you need Ancestry.com for this."

I don't have Ancestry so can anyone here find these entries and the relevant papers to see if these people are my Moon folk? My Edmond Moon was born in Cornwall in 1860. He's in Bristol with a sizeable family in 1901 but they are all missing from the 1911. He died in Bristol in 1925.

Thanks for the look-up Bert. Sadly he ain't my man 'cos I know mine was in Penzance in 1883. But, it's a name to be crossed off the list.
