Brien tree on Ancestry?

Post by dickiesam »

Can any of you Ancestry folk find a tree relating to the Brien family from Bray, Co Wicklow, Ireland. I have been told by a friend on whose behalf I am chasing down this family that she has been told there is one but I haven't found it.

Patrick Brien [bn Bray, Co Wicklow, Irl, 1910] married Anna May Kelly [bn Naas, Co Kildare, Irl, 1907] in Bray, Co Wicklow, Ireland, in 1928. They had at least 8 children, 6 of whom were born in Ireland. About 1942/3 they moved to the UK where they had 2 more children and most of the children married. In some cases they 'adopted' O'Brien in place of Brien. I have all the children's names, DoBs etc, but it's the Irish end I am after!

Patrick Brien's parents were Edward and Elizabeth Brien [nee Brien], and Anna May Kelly's were Thomas and Bridget Kelly [nee Whelan].

Hi DS
There is a tree on Ancestry. It relates to the Brien side and has Patrick's parents and grandparents.
Edward Brien born May 1889 at Hudson's Terrace, Bray.
Elizabeth born 1889 in Bray and apparently died in Bray. No maiden name.
There is info on Edward's parents and siblings as well.
Let me know if you want any more details

I found 5 possible trees. Was Patrick known as Sonny? Two different places of death on the trees, Birkenhead and Birmingham. Some photos/memorial cards incl memorial card for Patrick's mother Elizabeth.
