There isn't one hit on Scotland's People for a birth/baptism, Popler/Poplar.

Could it suggest, the Esther on the 41 census, declaring Scotland her place of birth is not Sarah Ann's birth mother? perhaps her father had 2 Esther's in his life.

Thanks everyone I have found all the TREGASKISS and variants in Liverpool and all the family of John the corporal of Marines Born in Plymouth Dock his family in London and his ancestors going back to Laurence TREGASKIES Born St. Clements Cornwall who died there 10th May 1671 Married Jennifred JOHNSON 24th Oct. 1638 there It says she was born in England (Looks like they thought of themselves as a different Country ) But I can't find here Marriage to John to settle on her Maiden name POPLAR as her daughter suggests or BOYN which has been suggested by a researcher in Salt Lake City ( The middle name of there son William and another relative ) .We spent a very happy holiday in St Clements and near by LADOCK. The Verger of the Church at St. Clements has preserved
an old Slate head stone broken and on the remainig part within a scroll it Says In Memory of BETSEY the Daughter of WILLIAN AND ELIZABETH TREGASKIS who Died 20th June 1-05 (with a big crack over the year) age 10 years with a metal band across it to hold it together He says it is the earliest headstone he has found and he is very proud of it
