Agnes Bankier in 1881

Hi Everyone,
I've had a bit of time today to look for some elusive ancestors but I'm having problems finding Agnes Bankier nee Murray in 1881.
Agnes is in Scotland in 1841, she was born there in 1835c.
1851 she's at Upper Mann St, 1861 she's in Kirkdale, 1871-Lyons St
1881 ??
1891 & 1901-Hermia St, 1911 Marsh St Kirkdale.
Agnes died in 1921.
I'm finding it difficult to find a few of the Bankier clan in 1881. I'm presuming their surname was misspelt but I can't see where they're hiding in 1881.
Best wishes,
Tracey.

I noticed Agnes's maiden name appears to have been Murray.
I reckon that makes sense since Alexander Banker and Agnes Murray didn't marry until Q3 1857 Liverpool 8b 343, Our Lady & St. Nicholas & St. Anne and Margaret was born approximately 1854

Hi,
I think it is Agnes on 1881
classRG11 Piece 3690 Folio 43 Page 22
There is Andrew with her in Bootle, and on 1891 Christina.
An Andrew Bankier married a Christina E Jones in 1886, Bootle

I know who submitted the error correction for the 1891 but do you know who did it for the 1901 census or is this somebody you should contact?

Copying a relevant point from the other post to this one.
I'm still not sure if Agnes' father was Alexander Bankier as I'm sure when I looked on the microfiche a few years ago at Agnes' marriage details that it said her father was Alexander Murray (could be wrong, I have been many times)
I think you really need to see the marriage of Agnes and Alexander Bankier and see if Agnes maiden name was in fact Murray or whether she was a widow.
and to Tina
I will look into the Jessie Bankier name, maybe she's one of mine.

Hi Mary,
I don't think Agnes had married a Murray as I found her with her father Andrew Murray & mother Janet in 1851 at Upper Mann st & Andrew is with Agnes in 1871, he's a widower, at 21 Lyons St.
Best wishes,

Try to save yourself money and visit the Archives when they are available, Katie has posted that she thinks it might be around the beginning of September.

Hi
I don't know if Jessie is one of yours.
She married John F Bankier in 1879 maiden name Tate.
1901 in Edge Hill 47 widow with her 2 brothers and a female Turnbull
cousin.
Probably a long shot.
All the best

Hi Yappie,
Alexander Bankier b.1830 was a Ship's Carpenter/Joiner
Alexander Bankier b.1872-haven't yet looked into his life
Alexander Bankier b.1891 was a Plumber/Jobber in 1911
Andrew Bankier b.1861 & married to Christina Elizabeth Jones was a Marine Fireman. He had a daughter Margaret b.1893. The Alexander b.1891 was Andrew's son.
I have lots more to do on this name so you never know.
I was christened & married at St Alexanders.
Best wishes,
Tracey.

Hiya,
I am related to Agnes Bankier (nee Murray) through her son Alexander Bankier (my second g.grandfather).
He married Eliza Peers and had twelve children, one of whom was Alexander Ellis. Alexander married Emma Parker (my namesake) and one of their children was my granddad George (my mums' dad).
I don't have any info on the Murray family unfortunately.
