The Liverpool Pals

An old mate of mine from the Kings Regt this is taken from his facebook page
Over the last couple of months i have been speaking to various members of the public and others about a monument for the Liverpool Pals. All though there is a small monument in St George's Hall which is a scroll with the eagle and child cap badge, i fell that a better monument would be better for the people of Liverpool and the general public.
If you wish to join me in trying to get a new monument please email me or click on the link, if you can help me in getting further information and contacting the correct people or organizing a event to raise funds for this monument please help me.
The monument is something i have personnel been thinking about for sometime, and is personal to myself and specially my wife who's grandfather served in the pals and was killed whilst serving at the battle of arras, it has no association with other groups and 3rd party's.
This is something i think will benefit the city of Liverpool, the people of Merseyside and beyond and my wife and all those grand children of those men who where brave enough to lay there lives on the line for us.It is also something that should of been done years ago and not today.
