Hello
Would it please be possible if any one is going to the records office and has time can you please look up the marriage of
John Wesley Lloyd and Mary Rachel Warhurst
June qrt 1896 at Christ Church Bootle I need father names, any help would be very much appreciated.
Kind regards Sue
Crosby Library has an index to the marriages at Christchurch but I don't think it shows the father's name. They also have an index to baptisms at the church
Hi,
If you have to contact the church as Katie says, it could be a longish drawn-out process so I would have thought the marriage cert would be the best expedient source, even at the increased cost, because you will get the all the info... father's names/occupations, and addresses and witnesses.

I presume it's your John W Lloyd a dental surgeon in West Kirkby in 1901. If so I reckon this is your man
1871 census 30 Mount Pleasant Liverpool
John W Lloyd 34 dentist bn London
Ann wife 34 bn Tanllyn Wales
John W son 5 bn Liverpool
Henry son 6 months
In 1881 John W Lloyd aged 15 is at the Leys School Cambridge. This is an independent school still going so it might be worth contacting to see if they have your John in their register.
You John's birth registration would appear to be Liverpool Sept Q 1865 vol 8b page 192 as that is given as John Wesley Lloyd
Mary Rachel Warhurst West Derby reg district Dec Q 1872 vol 8b page 386.
In the 1881 census she is with her father William 42 a chemist and druggist born Heywood and mother Amelia and the rest of the family. They are living at 101 Stanley Road Kirkdale
According to lancashirebmd Willaim Warhurst married Amelia Frenc in 1860 at St Nicholas Liverpool
Hello Katie, dikiesm and Hilary
Thank you all so much for your kind help and infomation, yes this is the family I am looking for.
Thank you again kind regards Sue
