Record Office closure

Hello everyone, I wonder if anyone can tell me whether or not the new temporary premises for the records will have access to the Newspapers for the 18th/19th centuries please? I had intended to make the trip to Liverpool but health problems made that impossible before it all closed
I know for certain that my gt.grandfather committed suicide by drowning (I have his death cert.) but the coroner's inquest records do not appear to exist any more. I am sure there would have been a newspaper report at the time because suicide was a crime then, so when I am up to it I intend to visit Liverpool and try and find out
If anyone can help I'd be very grateful
Thank you,
Lilian
