hello little helpers
I have a marriage cert for All Saints , this is in the Netherfield Rd /Great Homer Street area but cant find it , think it it C/E any help at all will be very welcome

CofE: All Saints, Great Nelson Street, was consecrated 1848, replacing a church of the same dedication in Grosvenor St which was sold to the RCs.
It closed in 1937 and was demolished in the 1960s. It stood between Scotland Road and Cazneau St.
More description on page 116 in 'TThe Churches of Liverpool' by David Lewis, but no pic.

Was the marriage listed on the LancsBMD site? if it was then it's likely to be a C of E. If the marriage was given as "Register Office or Registrar Attended" then it's likely to be RC.

a big thank you to Mary ,Daggers and Blue for all your help :D this is the church , it was known as the farmers church , have got to admit I had never heard of Great Nelson Street :oops: and we have the book Liverpool Churches with some really beautiful pictures in it ,I am sure we will find one somewere ,the map was a big help as the addresses given were Meadow St and Horatio St not that they lived in either of them :? :?
