Killing 2 birds with one stone here !
Firstly, Tina.
Finally got to Kiama and examined the 1891 census. I69 entries in Towson St., 60 in Ascot St., & 59 in Epsom St. There are no Sarah Ellens or family in any of the 287 houses I opened up. Not even remotely.
Now to Member 4927:
You posted in the latest edition of the Magazine that you are looking for DOOLING/DOOLAN.
This name has significance for me in terms of Sarah Ellen Cahill, nee Williams. Other surnames which could be involved are Currie, Fox & Eaton.
Catherine Doolin was the godmother to my grandmother, Ellen Cahill born 1888 and baptised in OL of Immaculate Conception Liverpool.
Please let me know if this is meaningful to you.
