hi i am a new member so do not really know the protacol for writing to
the forum but on this rainy afternoon i have been searching the
Ancestry for some of my family history and i keep coming across
the address of Windle Green Sefton and am curious to know
were it is
i am currently researching Pinnington and Blundell mostly in the Sefton
and Litherland addresses around 1848

In my 1930s map it is shown as Windles Green, a cluster of houses by Runnell's Lane, off Edge Lane, which runs north west from the crossing of Gorsey lane and Buckley Hill Lane.
Tan House Farm and Birch Cottages are named.
The general area is probably Thornton, though I stand to be shot down on that one.
