Liverpool Record Office - Help Desk Closure

Just to let you know that because of the upheaval at the Record Office, the Help Desk has closed for the foreseeable future, maybe until alternative accommodation is arranged. Will update as and when possible.

Other help desks are still functioning

Leigh Library every Monday 1.30 - 3.30

Birkdale Library every Tuesday 10 - 12

Formby library first Tuesday of the month 10 - 12

Tarleton library first Monday of the month

Queens Road Neighbourhood centre Bootle self help family history group Fridays 10.30 - 12.30 term time only

It is hoped that the Liverpool Help Desk will function in The World Museum when the Microfilm section relocates there. When this happens I will post details.

I have just found this on another forum. Does anyone here know about it?

"C of E church records have been moved to Huyton Library while Liverpool Record Office is refurbished."

Hi Daggers.

The records havent been moved from Liverpool to Huyton. Which forum was this posted on? Huyton do hold microfilm copies of Liverpool Church of England registers but not the originals
