Help with 1891 census

I found the man I was hunting for on the 1891 census for Liverpool, via a subscription site, but am baffled by the detail.
The page is headed as if for an institution, but the first two names are of a hotel manager, so I suspect the page has been put out of its proper order, as using the 'previous' button gave me nothing.
The name I am interested in is LIBORIO PROSPERI, an Italian-born artist. The page number is '1' with '173' stamped alongside. The image does not show the usual RG reference.

Is it possible to find out which hotel he was staying in at the time, perhaps through another provider? [It's lucky the name is not John Smith'.]

Hi Daggers,
Using my new best friend (Gores 1891) I have a Liberio Prosperi - artist - at 24 North John St. Any help?
Pauline.

The description by the Enumerator confirms that it is the Adelphi Hotel, Ranelagh Street, Liverpool.

There appears to be only three pages for the hotel, yours is the first.

Hi

A bit of trivial information. The Adelphe Hotel was built in 1826 - has 405 bedrooms and is now a part of the Britannia Hotel Group.
Good luck with your research

Thanks to all for unrivalled skill and willingness to help.
If he had an address in Liverpool, he must have been staying at the Adelphi, perhaps for a dinner party - too far to walk to North John Street?
