Marriage loook up pretty please!

Post by PJLong »

Any kind soul off to LRO? I'm hoping for any info on marriage of Augustus Miller to Winifred Hannan at Our Lady and St Nicholas and St Anne October 3rd 1859. Augustus was born in Prussia so I'm hoping for a weird and wonderful fathers name! Many thanks for any help.

Good grief....many thanks Jan. Well, that's come as a suprise - father being plain old John! I honestly thought he'd be something German or Jewish even! Goes to show we can't make assumptions eh? Smashing new lead for me though.....Daddy being a "mariner". Again, thanks Jan.

Hey Jan

You must have got home quick and immediately put this one on the forum. I had to wait in the search room for a couple of mine and you had gone when I came out. Hope you found the marriage you were looking for!

Hi Eileen,

Nice to see you today, I didn't find the marriage, I think it may be St Sylvesters, I have made a scan of the baptism with the info on, perhaps if I put on the forum in a new thread others may be able to make out the writing.
