Edward Barratt-Merchant Seaman Records

Hi everyone,
I wonder if anyone can help me with my Edward Barratt search. Are there any electoral rolls (or something like that) available for the years 1920 to 1929?
I have posted previously on this forum about discovering last year that my husband’s grandfather, Edward Barratt, had a family in Liverpool before leaving them to come to Australia and start a new life/new family.
I have tracked relatives down in Liverpool and I’m now well on the way to discovering about his life in Liverpool and his first family.
I received a merchant navy Record of Service card in the mail today. I had forgotten about my enquiry last year to the Australian National Archives. The card gives a date discharged in Brisbane of 4/4/1929 and has deserted written next to this date. I’m positive it is my Edward Barratt but I want to try and confirm it by linking his address that he gave on the service card. Here are all of his known Liverpool addresses.
1911 - Edward was living with his parents at 5 Rupert Terrace, Garden Lane, Everton Brow.
1920 - Edward was living at 5 Rupert Terrace, Garden Lane, Everton at the time he was married to his first wife.
1921 - When their first child was born they were living at 7 Rupert Terrace, Garden Lane, Everton.
1924 - When their second child was born they were living at 5 in 3 Court, Garden lane, Everton.
1926 - When their third child was born they were living at 108 Upper Beau Street, Liverpool.
1928/1929 - Edward lists his home address as 24 Everton Road, Liverpool on the Record of service card.
1930 - Edward’s wife and children are living at 21 William Henry Street, Liverpool but Edward was gone to Australia by then.
Kind regards
Leonie
