I have a relation who was emigrating to Canada in 1924 and he has put last address in England as...
7,St Pauls Square,Liverpool,England, could anyone tell me what it was there, because he lived in Westmorland before emigrating.
I have had a look in a 1894 Slaters directory but no such place is listed then.
Many thanks for your time.

Hi
No 6 St Pauls Square was the old St Pauls eye hospital in 1872. St Pauls square was around on the date you are looking for. It may well have expanded to other rooms on the square.
There is some history of the square via google
