I wonder if anyone has any knowledge of Harold Lethbridge who was a scout master, I believe in Kirkdale or Walton, in the 1920/30s.

I have most of his family and military history but wondered how he came to Liverpool and where he lived.

Any information would be gratefully received.

Thanks Tina. I will look into this one. Although he left the army in 1919 due to a gunshot wound in his shoulder and malaria. Would he be fit enough to be fireman? As usual more questions than answers. Why do we do this???

Doe. Actually this is an odd one. Pharoh was my fathers scout master in the 1920/30s. Somehow he got to know my mothers family and at the grand old age of 76 married my mothers cousin Dorothy Stanmore Roberts nee Higginson down in sussex in 1963!!

He could have been a ship's fireman on watch at the docks not a member of the Lpool Fire Service.
