ECHO July 22 1957 - Couple deceased in flat

Greetings to all,
You may remember at the beginning of January many of you (particularly Irene) offered great assistance in finding why two people were buried in the same grave on the same day in 1957. Irene managed to find an ECHO transcription which related to the unfortunate deaths of Thomas and Catherine Germain (German).
I received the death certifictes this morning. Both of them succumbed to coal gas poisoning from the gas cooker. Thomas apparently took his own life according to the certificate. No verdict of suicide or anything else was mentioned re Catherine's death - just that she had suffered the same fate as her husband.
A very sad story.
