Saw a lady on the 1911 whos occ was a Chimney Sweeper.. didnt know women did this job ?? she was 27 years old..

we had a lady sweep in Anfield years ago ,she went round on a motorbike with a side car attached

Could it be that it was her husband's occupation and he was unable to work for some reason so she kept it going?

Hi all,
As far as I know 'Chimley' Sweeps came in all shapes, size and gender [tried to use the s*x word but it got xxxxxed out]. From little 7 to 12 year old boys to that lady Colette found.

PS: Chimley is a family word! One of our daughter's used it when she was a toddler and it stuck!
