Post by kenid2010 »

Does anyone know if the gravestone names have been listed and published for graveyards in the Prescot and Huyton with Roby areas ?

Thanks, Ken

Hi Ken,

I don't know of anything about Gravestone inscriptions etc for the areas but you could look on the lancashire online parish Clerk website and see if anything is there for burials.

If you check our Websites Board you will see that members have gone to the trouble of collecting links to websites that have been transcribed of these details for various cemeteries, churchyards etc.

One posting is this, but I believe you may find others on that board.

Not gravestones but cemeteries try St Helens Cemetery Search. Unfortunately my link no longer works. Go to St Helens Council website and look for cemeteries and then deceased person search. Lots of people from Prescot were buried at the cemetery.

Hopefully someone might have a working link.
