Maybe your aunt worked there and had the children with her, she could have been a housekeeper. Irene

Hi Irene that's a good suggestion.
Kathleen hasn't listed where the Mother was in the census.
My Anc# subs don't cover this.

Finding relatives in New York

Hi Kathleen
Its very difficult to locate relatives that have emigrated and we all have to rely on Ancestry worldwide. You can access this at any Liverpool library free of charge. You could also try posting a help request on the New York Message Boards at the address below. They may be able to help you with your request. We hold a help desk at Liverpool Central Library 5th Floor William Brown Street on Tuesdays 1.30pm till 4pm if you require any help.

Hi Kathleen,
I have had a look at the 1930 census, I am not sure if the children were at a college, it is listed on previous pages as Valley Cottage, I have found a bit of info on it.

There is a website called
www.italiangen.org on this website there is an ongoing index of New York marriages. Not all the parties are Italian.
This tells you how to apply for certifictae. On this site on the Vtal Database I found that
France Duquite married on 29 October 1924 in Kings County certificate numnber 14468
They have a downloadable form that you can use to request a copy of the certifictae.
Hope this helps
