If anyone has irish ancestors it may be worth having a look at 'St.Anthony's Church Database Project ' website.
My ancestors lived near the docks and I spent ages looking at Churches in that area but it seems that St. Anthonys was the principal Irish Church in Liverpool.
It's a really good site with lots of extra info (some of it really sad)
