Hi

You need to supply the full date of marriage to make it easier for a lookup

From the IGI

JOSEPH TULL Spouse: JANE HULL Marriage: 18 MAR 1833 Christchurch-Hunter Street, Liverpool

The 1829 marriage is confirmed as the date you gave above

JOHN EVANS Spouse: ANN EVANS Marriage: 25 OCT 1829 Saint Nicholas, Liverpool

Hi to all, Mary has suggested that a marriage lookup that I wanted help with be attached to John's request, so here is the info as I know it found by Tina on Free b.m.d

Richard Jones married Sarah Jenkins September qtr 1853 at St Peter's

The Richard Jones I am looking for was from Llanfinhengel Yscefiog, Gaerwen, Anglesey, in earlier census he is shown as a widower and in later census for Liverpool he was a tile layer, his fathers's name was William and he worked as a collier. So plenty of clues if this is the right Richard Evans.

Sarah is consistent in claiming Aberystwith as her birthplace.

A big ask, If this record is found and fits is it possible to have address's and names of witness please.I would love to be able to find this info myself but sadly dont get home much any more. All help much appreciated, Happy Christmas. L.B :)

Once again being cheeky and adding on my requests, obviously if anybody is willing and also has enough time while they are are the RO, I would be very grateful for details.

Marriages
Thomas Edgar and Elizabeth Carter
15 SEP 1859 Saint Nicholas, Liverpool – hoping Thomas is a brickmaker

Ambrose Bailey and Annie Josephine Rylands
Q1 1875 St. Michael in the City, Liverpool 2054LP/8/377

To those of you who are able to go to the Record Office and who help us out, you know how much we appreciate your help - thank you very much.

Dear Irene, thank you so much you have put together an amazing piece of my family history together for me, this missing info has been niggling me for so long, I think more so because of the mixups with census info, it's nice to think Richard ended up marrying a caring lady as he was left a young widower himself.

Have a great Christmas, if I get home at some point perhaps I can treat you to a cuppa or stronger Cheers L.B :D

Irene - your help is very much appreciated, thank you. The occupation confirms that Thomas Edgar is the correct one, but as Elizabeth's father appears to have a different name to Carter, did you notice whether she gave her status as Single or widowed?

Those witnesses are very helpful too, need to check but I'm sure the surname Pimblett comes in somewhere :D

As LB says, we owe you big time, hope one day we might all meet up and treat you to that "something stronger"
