LRO Look Up Requests COMPLETED

Hi folks
I believe when John Matthew Jucanwick was baptised at St Peter's on 8/7/1861 his father was deceased.
His Mum should be Louisa Easter.
Jucanwick/wich/ is a shocker of a name.
Louisa is a widow in 1861 census surname "mangled'
Any info from the baptism record would be very much appreciated.
Thank you gals.

Hi Mary
I'm sure it has already crossed your mind

but I was wondering if the marriage of William Hosker to Jane Evans in 1845 could be at St Peters or St Nick's as they married in Liverpool not Neston
perhaps we could at least rule it out for definite

Eileen
31 July 1865 - St Mary's, Walton
William Tomkins - full age - Bachelor - Gardener - Walton
Father - Francis Tomkins - Gardener
Hannah Houldsworth - full age - Spinster - Walton
Father - John Houldsworth - Clerk of Walton Parish Church
Witnesses William Lloyd and Mary Ann Houldsworth
Vicar Thomas Hornby
All signed their names
I made a note that the person who performed the marriage WASN'T the father of Hannah, since our Education Officer said that she understood the Clerk might sometimes have had that kind of official duty in the Church. Those ceremonies at nearby dates also didn't had him officiating.

Simone your intuition was, as ever, spot on. I've posted the details on my Cold Case thread.

Many Thanks for that marriage, it is another link in the tree for me.
Hope you had good finds for your own research too.
