I have ben researching my husband's tree for some time now, many of his relatives came from West Derby. One of the surnames is Molyneux of which there are many. One Mary, born in 1827 is listed on many censues as born in Aintree. I just recently had contact with a long lost cousin I have found that they have The Family Bible. Mary is shown to have been baptised at Melling Church, Halsall. Does anyone know where that church is or was?
Thanks

Thanks very much thats a big help. I hope to find some records. My late father in law always belived that he was related to the Earl of Sephton via the Molyneux family. I have always suspected that it was a case of "name dropping" but I promissed to try and prove it but have hit a wall this may help.
Thanks again
