I am trying to locate the burial place of my grandfather Edward Charles HAMBLIN. He died in Liverpool North in 1942. I have specific details of date and place of birth. Can anyone assist?

Hi and welcome to the forum.
Place of death is rather more important than place of birth, Liverpool North could cover a large area, however there are a couple of cemeteries on the north side of Liverpool that would have been very much used at that date, eg Anfield, West Derby, Kirkdale. A lot would depend on where he lived at the time and whether there was already a private grave in the family.
It is very recent - is there anybody in the family who may remember the funeral?

Hello Geoff,
I see that Edward was only 34 when he died. Do you have the death certificate giving the cause, precisely where he died and his home address at the time? In case you don't have the cert here's the GRO Index reference.
Edward Charles Hamblin (34) - Liverpool N - 8b - 347 - Dec qtr 1942.
