Can anyone advise on how the registers are arranged? By ward, street, alphabetical?
I shall be looking for 1914 and 1939 lists for names of servicemen who died in the wars,for which I have partial but not complete addresses, for example, many with 'Aigburth' which can mean the whole area beteween Dingle and Garston. Are the registers all on film now?
A few clues in advance will save lots of time.
