Liverpool Directory look-ups please, WW1 period

Can anyone please help in verifying the following addresses - they appear in the War Graves Commission's Debt of Honour Register for local men, but I cannot pin them down:

"Kirlstane Street, Aigburth" family may be Toner, 1917. A mis-spelling I think for Thirlstane.

"3 The Boulevard, Aigburth Road" - what number in Aigburth Road was near? Family Morris in 1916. The Boulevard is generally thought to be near Barkhill Road - [is the old Aigburth Boulevard Club, or ABC, still in existence?]

"Denver, Mersey Road", Price family 1916 - any number attached?

"17 Beechwood Road" - whereabouts was this? Cunningham in 1918.

A John Rigby lived at "Greenheys, Aigburth", 1914. Where was this?

Thank you in advance.

Thanks for that, but it is the closer detail I am after, such as where in Beechwood Road was No 17? Was the Boulevard numbered separately from Aigburth Road, back in 1914-18 period?
Sorry for not making myself clearer.

Hi Daggers

Going through these really slowly, so bear with me

1914 Directory, haven't checked names yet, but roads so far.....

The Boulevard is after 28 Aigburth Rd - Aigburth Hotel and The Serpentine and Aigburth Hall Road. No numbers on The Boulevard tho'.

Beechwood Rd is between Woodhey Rd, Bayfield Rd, Grassendale Rd although 17 isn't listed

No sign of a Cunningham at Beechwood Rd

There is a John Rigby at 1 Riversdale Rd Aigburth.

Will continue the search!

Cheers

Good sleuthing!
As I suspected, Aigburth Road was still numbered from the Garston end at that time, so The Boulevard was to the north of what you mention.

1 Riversdale Road could well have been Greenheys. The Godfrey edition map does not show a name, but that looks a good shot.

Looking forward to more...

Hi Daggers

Really disappointed, none of the names showed up in the directory.

Thirlstane St is given as Toxteth Park, but Aigburth Rd end

'Denver' Mersey Rd is between 'Tremone' and 'Galabery' and an Edward Lawson- insurance clerk was resident at the time in 1914. All the houses had names and no numbers.

Hope that helps a bit

Cheers
