I think I have a line leading back to French Huguenot ancestors. I have a Bellion family living in Liverpool, the father was born in St Helens and the business is clock making. Apparently watch making or clock making was originally introduced to Prescot, not far from St Helens, by French Huguenots. The Bellion name in England seems to be most common in the Liverpool and Lancashire area. There may have also been Bellions drawn to the area by Lancashire's textile or weaving industries.

Haven't had any Huguenots in my line so I'll be interested to see what you dig up. If you have any hints for others who may be going down that line we'd love to hear them.
Good luck
