I'm going trying to find Penrith Street on old Liverpool maps if anyone can spot it or know where about it is please let me know which road it is off etc.

Hi

Looking at the 1871 street index - it was between Wagstaff St and Edmonton St

Windsor St, L8, looks like the nearest main road, but there has been a lot of redevelopment round there.

Thanks I think it was off Avison Street which was parallel to Windsor Street in the Upper Hill Street area of Toxteth.

1894 Directory has Penrith running from 21 Avison St to Emerson St.

1911 Directory has only one house listed 12 Penrith St
Mrs Agnes McFarlane small wares dealer.
Before this house is states Upper Hill St & after Emerson St.

1938 Directory it lists Penrith St at No. 23 Avison St
No. 15 Thos Donaldson shopkeeper. (only one house listed)
After this lists Emerson St.
