Hi

You always need to include the quarter in which the marriage took place to help narrow the search

However - in this case the marriage is on the IGI so the actual date is known which make it easier for a lookup

SARAH LEATHERBARROW Spouse: CHARLES REINECKE
Marriage: 02 NOV 1856 Saint Nicholas, Liverpool

Hi Liz

I noticed Charles's first two children were called John & Maria..as per the 1861 census..by 1871 no sign of Maria she must have died..

So his parents may have been Johan & Maria..he would be a Carl..there still might be no connection to John Eckeho..just lodging at their house.

Its a tough case this one

xx
