2 Marriage Certificate are same couple

Can any one help me. I have found two marriage certificate which be two different couples or the same couple but two services. As I don't llive in the region the church location might help.

Here is the details on the marriage certificate .

5th May 1839, St Patrick Chapel, District West Derby

Robert Moss ( Full Age ) Baker Residence Capperad Hill ( Not Sure ) Father William Moss Labour
Hannah Hutchinson (Minor) Residence Gerard Street, Liverpool Father Edward Hutchinson Cleck

12th May 1839 St Michalas Church District Liverpool

I strongly suspect that this was the same couple.

St Patrick's Chapel was in Park Place and was Roman Catholic while St Nicholas was Church of England.

Copperas Hill would be Robert's residence.

One scenario is that this was a mixed marriage and the families each wanted it blessed in their own religion.

A Catholic marriage also required a registrar present whereas a C of E one didn't.

The reason for the different addresses is because the banns were required to be called in their own parish.

In 1851 they were living in Toxteth Park, 12 Court No. 5 House Combermere Street
HO107; Piece: 2187; Folio: 282; Page: 17
Robert is 34 Baker Master, born Little Eccleston, Hannah is 31 born Liverpool as were the children William 11, Robert 7, Edward 4 and John 3 months born Toxteth Park.
